Women's Golf Finishes 11th at Palmetto Intercollegiate

KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. - Shane Crutchfield led Xavier women's golf at the Palmetto Intercollegiate, finishing with a score of even par. The junior tied for fourth-place, posting 10 birdies during the tournament and claiming her fourth top-10 finish of the fall.
As a group, Xavier came in at 11th place with a final score of 48-over. Coastal Carolina clinched the top spot at 2-over.
Rachel Johnson posted a score of 15-over to tie for 46th place. The sophomore had her low round of the season yesterday in the second round of the tournament (72, E). Sophomore Grace Howie carded a score of 16-over to tie for 54th place.
Freshman Lindsey Murray tied for 72nd place with a total of 21-over. Senior Abby Smith rounded out play for the team in 94th place at 30-over.
The Musketeers will be back in action for their spring season on Feb. 13 at the FGCU Invitational.
