Women's Golf Takes Third at Yale Intercollegiate

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Junior Shane Crutchfield shot a final round of 75 (4-over) to take second place at the Yale Women's Fall Intercollegiate. She ended the tournament at 3-over par, just two strokes behind the leader.
Elisabeth Beranbe (Yale) shot a low round of the tournament on the final day to win at just one-over.
As a team, Xavier ended in third place (42-over) behind Yale (1st, 35-over) and Harvard (2nd, 40-over). The Musketeers finished with three top 20 performances.
Freshman Hanna Lee had a career best finish (t-6th) coming in at 11-over. Sophomore Rachel Johnson carded 13-over to tie for 15th place.
Sophomore Grace Howie came in at 15-over to tie for 21st. Freshman Lindsey Murray posted a final score of 24-over to tie for 55th.
Xavier returns to the course Oct. 6-7 for the UC Invitational in Cincinnati, Ohio.
