Xavier men's basketball returns to Cintas Center tonight and fans will experience several new and expanded offerings
CINCINNATI – Xavier men's basketball opens its 2015-16 season on Friday night at Cintas Center, facing off with local rival Miami (OH) at 7 p.m.
Here's a look at quick look at some of the new and expanded offerings for fans:
• New in 2014, D'Artagnan's Deck – the upper-concourse craft beer bar – is back and has been expanded. Due to overwhelming demand, the viewing deck has been expanded – which should shorten wait times and provide a terrific viewing platform from this popular fan destination. Don't know what's on tap? No problem, just follow @XUConcessions on Twitter for a list of each game's pour.
• Anheuser-Busch products return to Cintas Center and will be available at concession stands and on the main concourse at kiosk locations. Select wines and spirits will also be available on the main concourse, including a new bar location on the east concourse lower-lobby outside of Duff's.
• Fans can access a new gathering spot in the Crawford Student-Athlete Academic Center via the stairwell on the west concourse adjacent to the O'Keefe Athletic Hall of Fame. A new bar along with food service in this space will afford fans a spot to enjoy their pregame meal or halftime snack during home men's basketball events. Six HD TV's will show other college basketball action from around the country. Check it out!
• New concessions offerings for the 2015-16 season include Donato's personal pizzas, Totino's Pizza Rolls, local favorite Homemade Brand Ice Cream, and much more.
• Parking shuttles return again. Convenient service begins 90 minutes before tip-off and continues for approximately 45-60 minutes post game. Pick-up and drop-off points are at the Circle Drive on St. Francis Xavier Way, University Station, and the B/C4 plaza lot.
• Halftime stats presented by Modern Office Methods will be distributed near the All For One Shop's merchandise kiosk on the east concourse at the bottom of the grand staircase near Duff's.
• NEW!! The Junior Musketeers Kids Zone is located on the west concourse outside of Section 103 and features poster-making and kids activities.
• Musketeer Mobile Alerts - Get score updates, fan alerts, breaking news and more. Click here to opt-in today.
• NEW!! Wireless Camera – Have you ever wanted to appear on the Cintas Center video board?! Now may be your opportunity, as Cintas Center has a wireless camera and will be able to engage with fans no matter the location. Whether it's the Ford Kiss Cam, YMCA Dance Cam, or Kroger Fan of the Game, we'll be able to find you.
