
Xavier Will Play Georgia In Its First Game In The 2025 Charleston Classic

Complete bracket information was announced today for the November tournament.
Charleston, S.C. --- The brackets for the 2025 Shriners Children's Charleston Classic, an event with two four-team brackets, will be played on Nov. 21 and 23 at TD Arena in Charleston, S.C. Xavier will face Georgia in its first game at 9 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 21 on ESPN2. XU plays West Virginia or Clemson at either 1 p.m. or 3:30 p.m. on Sunday.
The Palmetto bracket will feature Clemson, Georgia, West Virginia, and Xavier, while the Lowcountry bracket will include Boston College, Davidson, Tulane, and Utah State.
Georgia (SEC) and Xavier (BIG EAST) have faced each other five times, with Xavier holding a 3–2 edge in the series. Georgia won the last matchup, 78-76, in the 2024 NIT First Round in Athens, Ga. Xavier defeated Georgia 73–61 in the 2008 NCAA Tournament First Round, the first of XU's three wins on its way to the 2008 Elite Eight.
