Men’s Golf Heads to South Carolina for Camden Collegiate

CAMDEN, S.C. – The Xavier men's golf team heads to South Carolina today for the third annual Camden Collegiate. The two-day event will be played at Camden Country Club, which will be playing 6,455 yards and par 70.

The fourteen-team field consists of the host team South Carolina, Charleston Southern, Dartmouth, Francis Marion, Furman, Gardner-Webb, Harvard, High Point, James Madison, Presbyterian, South Carolina-Aiken, USC Upstate, Wofford, and Xavier.

Head coach Brian McCants is sending three seniors and three underclassmen to compete at the event. Daniel Jaramillo will be in the number one position, followed by Fox Morrissey, Eduardo Rivera Nicholls, Matt Wetterich and David Long. Ryan Podufal will be competing as an individual.

First round begins Saturday morning with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start and continuous play for 36 holes. The tournament format is stroke play.
