RIO VERDE, Ariz. – BIG EAST Golfer of the Week sophomore Hanna Lee medaled at the 14th annual Rio Verde Invitational in Arizona this afternoon. The Cincinnati native had career best scores in the first two rounds, and was able to wrap up the tournament with a final round 76 (+4) that put her in first place overall. This marks the first time Lee has medaled in her career.

Xavier, as a team, finished tied for eighth out of eighteen teams after shooting a combined score of 304 (+16) in the final round today, putting them at a total combined score of 910 (+46) for the tournament.

Junior Rachel Johnson had the best round of the day for Xavier. The Nashville native matched her career best score with an even par 72, which moved her up the leaderboard 26 spots on the final day. Johnson finished tied for 44th overall for the tournament.

Senior Shane Crutchfield finished tied for 55th after shooting a final round 81 (+9).

Sophomore Nina Kulkarni finished tied for 67th after a final round 79 (+7), while classmate Lindsey Murray finished 85th after a final round 77 (+5).

The Musketeers return to the course on Thursday, March 10th for the Pizza Hut Lady Thunderbird Invite in St. George, Utah.
