Second Tournament in the Books for Men’s Golf

CINCINNATI - The Xavier men's golf team concluded the final round of the Bearcat Invitational this afternoon at Coldstream Country Club.

INDIVIDUAL HIGHLIGHTS

Fox Morrissey tied for the best round of the day for Xavier, firing a final round 73 (+2). The senior led the team in pars and birdies, with 33 and 7 over the two days.

David Long also shot a final round 73 (+2). The senior carded 12 pars and two birdies on the last day.

Daniel Jaramillo was second on the team in birdies with 6, and played the par 5's under par for the three days, averaging 4.89 strokes a hole.

Matt Wetterich was second on the team in pars with 32 and fourth on the team in birdies with 4.

Hunter Roberts, in his second tournament as a Musketeer, was third on the team in pars with 31.

Eduardo Rivera Nicholls was third on the team in birdies with 5 and played the par 5's under par, averaging 4.89 strokes a hole.

TEAM RESULTS

Xavier came in tenth place after a final round combined score of 303 (+19).

UP NEXT

The Musketeers return to the course on Monday, October 3rd for the Firestone Invitational in Akron, Ohio.
