CINCINNATI --- The Xavier men's basketball program is tied with Florida for 15th in the new Basketball Times rankings of the best NCAA men's basketball programs.
Every five years since 1997, Basketball Times has evaluated the best of the best NCAA programs with rankings that are based on five categories: winning percentage, NBA players, federal graduation rate, U.S. News and World Report academic reputation and program cleanliness.
Xavier was ranked 21st in the last rankings back in 2012.
There are only nine programs that have qualified for every edition of the project beginning in 1997: Duke, Arizona, Connecticut, Kansas, Kentucky, Murray State, North Carolina, Syracuse and Xavier.
