FORT WAYNE, Ind. - Xavier track and field wrapped up action at the Mastodon Opener on Saturday, Dec. 2. The meet was held at the Athletics Center Fieldhouse.

The Musketeers posted five, first-place finishes on Saturday afternoon.

"I was not 100 percent satisfied with our opener at IPFW today. The energy level was not where it needed to be and we made a lot of small mistakes as a team. I know it was just the opener, but we have a lot of work to do over the next month to get ready for our next meet. As far as the team score goes, I was happy with the men winning two of their three dual meets and the women winning three of their five dual meets."
