Men’s Golf Heads to Arkansas for Red Wolves Invitational

JONESBORO, Ark. – The Xavier men's golf team is in Arkansas today for the Red Wolves Invitational in Jonesboro. The two-day event will be played at RidgePointe Country Club, which will be playing 6,676 yards and par 72.

The fifteen-team tournament field consists of the host team Arkansas State, Creighton. Eastern Illinois, Florida Atlantic, Missouri State, Murray State, Omaha, New Orleans, North Dakota, Northern Iowa, Oklahoma Christian, South Dakota, SIU Edwardsville, Tennessee Martin, and Xavier.

Head coach Brian McCants brought a senior and four underclassmen to compete at the event. Matt Wetterich will be in the number one position, followed by Daniel Jaramillo, Hunter Roberts, Eduardo Rivera Nicholls, and Ryan Podufal.

First round begins Monday morning with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start with continuous play for 36 holes.
