PARTICIPATING TEAMS

"The Bluegrass Invitational this weekend is a new meet for us. Although it's about a week earlier than normal, our men's team will be racing an 8K for the first time this year, while the women's team will stick with a 5K. For the men's team, I added this meet to our schedule because they have a great course, with solid competition and it's just over an hour from our campus. The timing of the meet with also allow them to have three weeks of recovery and solid training before the All-Ohio Championship. On the women's side, this meet gives our developmental girls and mid-distance runners another opportunity to race."
• The Musketeers opened the 2017 season at the 36th Annual Queen City Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 2. The women's team placed second, while the men took fourth.
• Madeline Britton placed third on the women's side, posting a school-record time of 17:25.90 in the 5K race.
• The Musketeers return to action at the Commodore Classic on Saturday, Sept. 16 in Nashville, Tenn. The meet is scheduled to start at 9 a.m.
