• The Xavier women have been ranked in the USTFCCA Great Lakes Regional Poll four times this year, most recently being ranked 15th on Oct. 15.
• The Xavier women are led by a strong core of underclassmen, paced by sophomore tandem Jenna Clayworth and Anna Kostarellis. The two runners have posted top-10 times in the school record books after only two seasons. Clayworth's 6K time of 21:19.50 at the Bradley Pink Classic this season ranks ninth, while Kostarellis' 6K time of 21:14.00 at the Paul Short Run this season ranks eighth.
• Freshman Thomas Gardiner has paced the Xavier men this season, placing as the top Xavier finisher in the squad's last two meets. His 8K time of 24:48.30 at the Louisville Classic this season ranks sixth in school history.
• Sophomore Brady Harless has also posted a Xavier top-10 performance as he recorded an 8K time of 25:16.00 at the Louisville Classic this season, ranking 10th in school history.
• Sophomore Brady Harless and senior Grayson Jenkins will be making a 'Hoosier Homecoming' for the championship meet as both runners are from Carmel, Ind.
• The Xavier women placed fifth last season at the BIG EAST Championships, while the men took eighth. The meet was held at the Wayne Dennehl National Course in Kenosha, Wis.
• Senior Madeline Britton's eighth-place finish was the highest finish for a Musketeer since joining the BIG EAST in 2013. The Bay Village, Ohio, native also earned All-BIG EAST First Team honors, the first Musketeer to earn the honors in cross country during BIG EAST action.
• Jenna Clayworth's finish was the second-best performance for a Xavier freshman since joining the BIG EAST. Caroline Gosser finished 16th at the 2015 conference championships.
• Xavier returns to action at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional on Friday, Nov. 9 in Terre Haute, Ind.
