Women’s Basketball Adds Noveroske, Prenger During NLI Signing Period

Head coach Brian Neal announced his signing class on Wednesday
CINCINNATI - Xavier head women's basketball coach Brian Neal has announced the addition of Hannah Noveroske and Courtney Prenger to the 2019-20 roster. The two players signed national letters of intent on Wednesday.
"Hannah is the type of player we have been looking for in recruiting which is legit size. She has strength and is a great athlete. She has soft hands and can score over either shoulder. She is going to add a new dimension to our team and will be a presence on both ends of the floor in the paint."
"Courtney is an all-around athlete. She comes from a winning program that's been a powerhouse high school program for many years. She has a high motor and plays really hard."
Has earned all-conference honors three times in basketball… has also earned all-district honors three times in basketball… was named The Times of Northwest Indiana Athlete of the Year for Porter/LaPorte Counties in 2018… averaged 20.6 points and 15.7 rebounds per game as a junior… added 6.9 blocks per game during the 2017-18 season… averaged 18.6 points and 13.2 rebounds per game as a sophomore… earned all-state honors in 2018 for volleyball… helped her team win sectional titles in volleyball in 2017 and 2018… posted 431 kills and 117 solo blocks in volleyball as a junior… played AAU basketball for the Indy Lady Gym Rats.
Has helped her basketball team post a 71-11 record over three seasons… helped her team win the 2018 OHSAA Division IV State Title… averaged 10.9 points and 5.3 rebounds per game as a junior… added 2.6 blocks per game during the 2017-18 season… is a three-time all-conference first team selection… earned All-Ohio Second Team honors in 2018… also a two-time All-District 8 selection… is also a standout track and field athlete… was a member of the 2016 and 2017 OHSAA State Runner-Up Track and Field Team at Minster HS… participated in the 4x200 and 4x400 meter relays at the state championships… played AAU basketball for the Dayton Lady Hoopstars.
