NABC Is The Latest To Honor Trevon Bluiett As A Second Team All-American

National Association of Basketball Coaches is his sixth major All-America honor.
CINCINNATI --- Xavier senior guard Trevon Bluiett has added another All-America honor to his growing list of awards. The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) announced today that Bluiett has been named to the 2018 NABC Coaches' Division I All-America Second Team.

Bluiett has already earned 2018 Second Team All-America honors from the USBWA (United States Basketball Writers Association), Sporting News, USA Today, NBC Sports and NCAA.com.

Bluiett, who is sixth in the BIG EAST in scoring at 19.3 ppg., scored 2,261 points in his four-year career, which ranks second on XU's all-time scoring list. His 762 career rebounds rank 11th in Xavier history. Blueitt is one of only 13 players in BIG EAST Conference history to earn BIG EAST First Team honors three times. He also earned a spot on the All-BIG EAST Tournament team for a third straight year.

Bluiett, who ranked third in the BIG EAST in 3-point field goals per game at 3.0, holds the Xavier career record (319) and single season record (105 in 2017-18) for 3-point field goals made. In addition, he shares the single-game 3-point field goal record with nine in a game at Cincinnati his junior year and hit eight more in win over Seton Hall this past season.
