Men's Golf Returns to Links in Kingsmill Intercollegiate

KINGSMILL, Va. – Xavier men's golf starts the back half of the 2018 spring season participating in the Kingsmill Intercollegiate starting Sunday, March 25-27. The par 70, 6,794-yard tournament will take place at Kingsmill Resort River Course.
College of William and Mary will play host to Air Force, Appalachian State, Binghamton, Delaware, Drexel, Eastern Michigan, Fairleigh Dickinson, Fort Wayne, George Washington, Iona, Longwood, Loyola, Old Dominion, Radford, Seton Hall, Southern Illinois, St. Bonaventure, St. Francis (Pa.) St. Joseph, Towson, Utah Valley, and Youngstown State.

The Kingsmill Intercollegiate will be the Musketeers' first tournament since placing 11th in the Pinehurst Intercollegiate earlier this month, entering the clubhouse with a 300 scorecard. Garrett Wood led Xavier, finishing in 14th place. The freshman recorded 15 pars on the final day and tied for first in the field with a 3-under cumulative score on par 5's.
