Xavier University Athletics
#XintheCity Presented by TriHealth Contest Winners Announced
03.26.18 | Men's Basketball, Athletic Department
CINCINNATI -- Xavier Nation took on New York City once again during this year's BIG EAST Tournament, and fans traveling to the event were encouraged to show their Xavier pride using the hashtag #XintheCity on social media.
Participating fans shared photos with great frequency on Twitter and Instagram, posting shots in Xavier gear and making the X at various NYC landmarks. Posts including the hashtag reached over 50,000 people from March 7-11.
Congratulations to our #XintheCity contest winner, Mary Rehard (@ImamaToto6)! Rehard, who posted the most pictures of any Xavier fan around NYC, will win a mini basketball signed by Xavier head coach Chris Mack.
20 additional participants have been randomly selected to win a Xavier tumbler. Winners will receive a message from Xavier Athletics in the near future about how to redeem their prize.
Check out the top photos and videos from all participants below in our Storify recap of the contest.
