Tre Carroll Was Named To The BIG EAST Conference Honor Roll

This is the second league honor this season for Carroll.

CINCINNATI --- Xavier University graduate student Tre Carroll was named to the BIG EAST Conference Honor Roll for his efforts this past week. Carroll led Xavier with 22 points to go with eight rebounds and four assists in XU's 80-77 win at Georgetown on Saturday.

Carroll averaged 14.5 points, 5.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists in games against Georgetown and Creighton this past week. He shot 54.5 percent (12-22) from the field for the week.

This is the second time Carroll has earned a BIG EAST honor this season, having been named BIG EAST Player of the Week on Dec. 8.

Carroll leads Xavier in scoring at 16.5 ppg., which ranks sixth in the BIG EAST. He ranks second in the BIG EAST in field goal percentage at 48.5 percent.

Xavier, 9-4 overall and 1-1 in the BIG EAST Conference, has won six of its last seven games. The Musketeers are off until New Year's Eve when they host No. 4 UConn, 12-1 overall and 2-0 in the BIG EAST, at 5 p.m.
