Men's Golf in 12th Midway Through Second Round at Kepler Intercollegiate

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Play was suspended due to darkness, however, after a round and half of play on Saturday men's golf stands 12th at the Robert Kepler Intercollegiate. The Musketeers are led by Eduardo Rivera, who is tied for 20th.

Rivera earned two birdies in the first round and was three strokes above par when play was suspended. The junior was 1-over in his first 18 holes, but still has three holes to play in his second round.

Martin Jaramillo currently finished tied for 34th. In the second round, Jaramillo birdied the par-3 No. 13 as part of a 3-over nine.

Garrett Wood ended the day in a five-way tie for 49th. Wood earned three birdies in the first two rounds and still has four holes to play in his second nine.

Xavier dropped two spots from the first round, standing 12th with all five of its golfers needing to finish the second round. Men's golf finished with a 298 (+15) team score in the first round.

NEXT UP

The Musketeers will resume the second round with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. and the third-round tee times will start at 8:30 as well. After the players finish the second round, they will fall in line with their posted tee time.
