Men's Soccer Posts 1-0 Win Over Creighton on Friday Night

Senior Samson Sergi scored his team-leading sixth goal of the season vs the Bluejays
CINCINNATI - Xavier men's soccer picked up its first BIG EAST win of the season on Friday night, posting a 1-0 win over Creighton. The Musketeers improved to 5-5-1 (1-3),while Creighton dropped to 6-4-1 (2-2).
20' | XU | Samson Sergi scored on a penalty kick for the lone goal of the match. Karsen Henderlong was fouled inside the box on the previous play to set up the penalty kick.
• Andy Fleming captured career win No. 103 vs the Bluejays, the most wins by a head coach in program history. He surpassed Jack Hermans (102-154-18) who coached at Xavier from 1991-2004.
• Through 11 matches, the Musketeers have not allowed a goal in the first half.
