Melanie Moore Adds Three Players on Signing Day

The three newcomers will start their Xavier careers ahead of the 2020-21 season
CINCINNATI - Xavier women's basketball coach Melanie Moore has announced the addition of three players to the 2020-21 roster. The Musketeers have added two guards (Mackayla Scarlett and Shaulana Wagner) and one post player (Megan Harkey) to the roster.
Has led her high school team to three state basketball championships… has also helped her team to three regional and district championships… has led her team to a 53-7 overall record… averaged eight points and eight rebounds per game as a sophomore… added six assists and three steals per game as a sophomore… has been a four-time honor roll student… played for the Michigan Crossovers AAU Team.
Has helped her high school team post an 81-10 overall record in three seasons… helped her team to back-to-back 4A NCHSAA State Championships in 2017 and 2018... has led her team to three consecutive Metro 4A Conference Championships... earned all-conference honors as a junior... averaged six points and six rebounds per game in 2018-19... played for the Carolina Dynasty Diamonds AAU team... aveaged 12 points and seven rebounds per game last summer... is the editor in chief of the NW Horizons News (Guilford HS School Paper)... was the sports editor as a junior... volunteers at with the non-profit group, Beloved: The Molly Jane Mission... has earned high academic honors at her high school three straight years.
Earned New York State "AA" 5th Team honors as a junior… also earned CHSAA First Team honors… was an all-conference selection in 2019… earned Boo Williams First Team Honors and Guachos Mecca – Player of the Game Honors as a junior… earned CHSAA Second Team Honors in 2018 and CHSAA Third Team Honors in 2017… has scored 1,700 points through three seasons of basketball… averaged 16.5 points and five rebounds per game in 2018-19… added three assists and three steals per game… has been a three-time Optimistic Honor Roll recipient… played for the Iexcel AAU Team.
