Samson Sergi Named to United Soccer Coaches All-Region Team

The senior forward was named to the All-East Region Third Team
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Xavier men's soccer player Samson Sergi was named to the United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division I All-East Region Third Team on Monday afternoon.
Sergi adds to his list of awards this season as he was recently named to the 2019 Academic All-America® Division I men's soccer team. The senior forward was named to the All-American Second Team.
The Ashburn, Va., native earned All-BIG EAST First Team honors after scoring a conference-leading 10 goals this season. Sergi and Georgetown's Jacob Montes were the only two players in the BIG EAST who were unanimous selections.
Sergi finished his career with 29 goals, ranking tied for fourth in program history. He earned All-BIG EAST honors for the second time in as many seasons as he collected second-team honors in 2018.
