Jake Shepski Named to BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

NEW YORK - Grad student Jake Shepski was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll on Monday after a hot start to begin the season at No. 7 North Carolina last weekend.
A fifth year transfer from Notre Dame, Shepski led Xavier with a .500 batting average (5-for-10) and had a team-best five hits, three RBI and six total bases as XU opened its season with a three-game series.
The Musketeers (0-3) return to action for a three-game series at Samford, beginning with a first pitch at 5 p.m. on Friday, February 22.
