
Conor Grammes Named to BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

NEW YORK - Junior Conor Grammes extend his on-base streak to six straight games after hitting .545 in four games last week, earning a spot on the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll.
Grammes went 6-for-11 (.545) at the plate in a 2-2 week for the Musketeers, scoring six runs and collecting three RBI, while walking five times. Grammes had two doubles and a home run to mark a 1.000 slugging percentage.Â
Grammes collected a pair of doubles in a 2-of-2 outing at Kentucky, as well as a pair of walks. The junior went 2-of-3 in the first game against Evansville, and picked up a walk in each outing, extending his on-base streak to six.
Grammes also started Sunday's game on the mound, going five innings with a career-best 11 strike outs.
