Men's Golf Shoots 1-Under in Final Round of FAU Spring Classic

PALM BEACH, Fla. - Xavier men's golf finished out the FAU Spring Classic with a 1-under round at 287. They finished in 14th with a total of 897 (+33).

Garrett Wood carded back-to-back rounds at par-or-better with a 70 (-2) in the final round. Wood finished tied for 21st with a score of 215 (-1). He finished the weekend with 33 pars, 13 birdies and as a leader in par-4 scoring at 3.83 (-5).

Martin Jaramillo finished in a tie for 67th. He carded a 73 (+1) on the final day and 228 (+12) for the 54-hole outing. He had 26 pars and 10 birdies.

Nick Frey and Michael Prebles ended the tournament tied for 69th, each with a total of 229 (+13). Frey shot a 2-under (70) in the final round and Prebles carded a 74 (+2). Frey recorded 32 pars and seven birdies while Prebles had 31 pars and seven birdies.

Hunter Roberts carded a 234 (+18), respectively.
