Women's Golf BIG EAST Championship Tournament Delayed Due to Inclement Weather

OKATIE, S.C. - Play in the first round of the BIG EAST Women's Golf Championship was suspended just after noon on Friday due to inclement weather.
All groups competing completed at least 10 holes before play was suspended and will finish the first round on Saturday. The second round will begin after the first 18 holes are completed with the same pairings from day one.Â
Xavier leads the tournament so far at 17-over and Mikayla Fitzpatrick leads the field individually at 2-over through 10 holes.Â
The BIG EAST championship will continue play tomorrow at 9 a.m.Â
