"We had a great meet at Cincinnati this weekend. Between the men and women, we had three school records and 12 personal best marks but this was also one of our best team finishes at a meet this year. The women placed 6th out of 16 teams while the men placed 9th out of 18 teams. Coming into this weekend I knew we'd have a lot of parents and alumni at the meet so our team goal was to represent for them. Our alumni are the reason our program is where it is today and their parents are the reason they're at Xavier. It was great to see how well our team bought into that concept and how well they performed with all the support."
