Robinson, Roberts Earn All-BIG EAST Honors

NEW YORK - Xavier track and field standouts Kara Robinson and William Roberts both earned All-BIG EAST honors on Tuesday afternoon. Both student-athletes earned silver medals at the BIG EAST Outdoor Track and Field Championships on May 10-11 in New York City.
Both individuals reestablished their own school records in the 400-meter hurdles as Robinson posted a time of 1:00.69 and Roberts recorded a time of 51.91.
A total of 137 student-athletes across eight schools were named to the All-BIG EAST Team. The All-BIG EAST squad is comprised of BIG EAST competitors who finished in the top three in any individual or relay event at the championships.
