Emily Conners Named BIG EAST Swimmer of the Week

CINCINNATI - After leading the Musketeers during the dual meet at Cincinnati, Xavier swimming senior Emily Conners was named the BIG EAST Swimmer of the Week by the conference office on Monday.
Conners was the top scorer overall at the meet against Cincinnati, collecting a pair of event wins and a third place finish. Conners continued to lead the Musketeers in the freestyle sprints, taking events wins in the 50 (23.89 and the 100 (52.21).
Conners also led Xavier in the 200 free, posting a time of 1:54.11 to take third. Conners also swam the freestyle leg on the second place finishing 200 medley relay team (1:45.66).
It's Conners second BIG EAST Weekly Honor of the season, also earning Swimmer of the Week after the first week of competition.
