Magnus Cup 2026 Results

Both teams post fourth-place finishes

CLEVELAND - Men's and women's swimming wrapped up the three-day CSU Magnus cup on Saturday evening, with both teams placing fourth.

The Musketeers return to the pool in January when Xavier hosts Bellarmine for the Xavier's Senior Meet, set for Saturday, January 17, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at the Heidt Family Champions Center.

WOMEN'S NOTABLE

Abby Bocian led Xavier in the mile, finishing fifth with a time of 17:14.27. Emma Maxfield placed sixth with a time of 17:19.44.
Olivia Oyster took the top spot in the 100 free, setting a time of 49.23. Her time of 57.55 in the 100 IM also led Xavier, placing fifth.
Norah Simich led the Musketeers in the 50 fly with a time of 25.14.
Emma Tenhundfeld placed fifth in the 200 back with a time of 2:01.62.
Jordyn Libler set a time of 2:17.78 in the 200 breast to lead Xavier, placing fourth.
Norah Simich placed second in the 200 fly, setting a time of 2:00.64 in the prelims, then a time of 2:00.66 in the finals.
Norah Simich, Julia Sweetman, Maddy Lathrop and Olivia Oyster led Xavier in the 400 free relay, finishing in 3:28.15.
Xavier's women placed fourth with 892 points.

MEN'S NOTABLE

Ethan Leamer set a time of 15:51.83 in the mile to lead Xavier, placing fifth.
Kyle Hudson set a time of 51.02 in the 100 IM to lead the Musketeers. He also led Xavier in the 100 free, setting a time of 45.48.
Aiden Leamer picked up a second-place finish in the 200 fly with a time of 1:45.86. He also placed third in the 50 fly with a time of 21.69.
Matt Fralic set a time of 1:49.26 in the B-Final of the 200 back to take the top spot in the heat.
Brayden Mandacina set a time of 2:06.62 in the 200 breast to lead the Musketeers.
Sean McGinley, Matthew Adanin, Aiden Leamer and Kyle Hudson closed out the meet with a third-place finish in the 400 free relay, setting a time of 3:00.15.
Xavier's men placed fourth with 900.5 points.
