NCAA Approves Waiver; Kaelynn Satterfield Immediately Eligible

The guard is now eligible for the 2020-21 basketball season
CINCINNATI - The NCAA has approved the waiver submitted by Xavier Athletics for Kaelynn Satterfield. The guard is now eligible to play women's basketball during the 2020-21 season.
"We are very ecstatic for Kae and her family with this incredible news from our compliance office and the NCAA!" said Xavier head coach Melanie Moore. "Kae grew up in the gym and has an amazing basketball IQ and love for the game. She has the ability to play multiple positions and is an important piece as our program moves forward."
The New York, N.Y., native joined the Musketeers in the spring after transferring from Ohio State. She played in 18 games for the Buckeyes.
The former five-star recruit played high school basketball at Christ the King (NY), leading her team to a state title in 2019.
