Emma McMyler Named BIG EAST Golfer of the Week

The sophomore golfer won the Bradley Coyote Creek Classic individual title over the weekend
NEW YORK - Sophomore Emma McMyler was named the BIG EAST Golfer of the Week on Wednesday afternoon. She shared the honors with Creighton's Katherine Lemke.
The San Antonio, Texas, native helped the Musketeers win the Bradley Coyote Creek Classic on Sunday, Oct. 10. The Musketeers posted a 54-hole score of 871 (+7), ranking first in a field of 12 teams.
McMyler posted a 54-hole score of 206 (-10) to rank first in a field of 65 golfers. Her score set a new school record for 54-hole scoring, while the individual tournament title was the first of her Xavier career.
The tournament title was the Musketeers first since capturing the BIG EAST Championships on April 25, 2021. Xavier also won the Georgia State Tournament on March 30, 2021.
Xavier returns to action on Oct. 9-10 at the Palmetto Intercollegiate in Kiawah Island, S.C.
