INDIANAPOLIS, IN - Xavier played their final match of 2021, falling to Butler by a score of 16-25, 19-25, 30-28, 15-25. Four different Musketeers scored at leats eight kills in the outing, as 13 players saw game action.

Xavier finishes the season at 11-18, while Butler closes out at 16-15.

NOTABLES

• Kelly Franxman led the offense with another 13 kills. On defense she had seven digs and a block.

• In her final match of her career, Mackenzie Mangette tied a career-high with eight kills in just three sets of action. She had a .312 hit percentage and added three blocks on defense.

• Senior Norah Painter eight kills, four digs, and two blocks tonight.

• Ellie Chaffee only p;aued two sets in her final match as a Musketeer, but she showed out with eight kills at a .235 hit percentage.

• Delaney Hogan had six kills at a .278 hit percentage and four blocks on her ledger, while Senior Jayda Carlton had five kills and four blocks credited to her name.

• Setter Carrigan O'Reilly had 37 assists tonight, as well as six digs and two blocks.

• Alyssa Overbeck led the team with 22 digs against Butler, and MaryAnn O'Toole had a significant contribution with 17.
