Adam Kunkel Earns A Spot On The BIG EAST Conference Honor Roll

This is the second straight week a Musketeer has earned the honor.

CINCINNATI --- Xavier University senior Adam Kunkel was named to the BIG EAST Conference Honor Roll after averaging 18.0 ppg. in wins this past week over Ohio State and Norfolk State. Kunkel hit a collegiate career-high eight 3-pointers on his way to a Xavier career-high 26 points vs. Norfolk State on Sunday. Kunkel's eight 3-pointers were the most by a Musketeer since Trevon Bluiett hit eight in a win over Seton Hall at Cintas Center in 2018. The school record of nine is shared by Bluiett and Romain Sato.

This is the second straight week a Musketeer has earned the BIG EAST Conference Honor Roll distinction this season. Senior Paul Scruggs was named to the list last Monday, Nov. 15.

Xavier, 4-0 and ranked No. 25 in this week's Associated Press Poll, opens play in the NIT Season Tip-Off at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y., on Wednesday against Iowa State. XU plays either No. 9 Memphis or No. 27 Virginia Tech on Friday.
