
Colby Jones Named To BIG EAST Conference All-Freshman Team

Teammates Paul Scruggs and Zach Freemantle named All-BIG EAST.
CINCINNATI --- Xavier University guard Colby Jones has been selected to the BIG EAST All-Freshman Team by the league coaches. Two teammates, senior guard Paul Scruggs and sophomore forward Zach Freemantle, were named to the All-BIG EAST Conference Second Team.
Jones, who has started the last five games and 10 games overall this season, has contributed 7.5 ppg., 4.5 rpg., 2.9 apg. and 1.4 spg. as a freshman.
Jones joins an impressive list of Musketeers who have earned BIG EAST All-Freshman Team honors, including sophomore teammates Zach Freemantle and KyKy Tandy as well as Naji Marshall (2018), Edmond Sumner (2016) and Trevon Bluiett (2015).
