Sophomore Zach Freemantle Named To All-BIG EAST Second Team

Teammate Paul Scruggs joins Freemantle on the second team.
CINCINNATI --- Xavier University sophomore forward Zach Freemantle has been selected to the All-BIG EAST Conference Second Team by the league coaches. Teammate Paul Scruggs, a senior guard, joins Freemantle on the Second Team. Guard Colby Jones is on the All-Freshman Team.
Freemantle, who has posted six double-doubles in scoring-rebounding in the last seven games, leads the team in scoring at 16.3 ppg., which ranks fifth in the BIG EAST. He leads the entire league in rebounding at 9.0 rpg. He also is a team leader in field goal percentage (ninth in the BIG EAST at .510) and blocked shots (12th in the BIG EAST at 0.9 bpg.).
Freemantle was selected to the 2020 BIG EAST All-Freshman Team.
