AUGUSTA, Ga. - Xavier Athletics Hall of Fame member Jason Kokrak finished 49th at the Masters on Sunday, April 11. The four-day tournament was held at Augusta National Golf Club.
The former men's golf standout hit a four-round total of 295 (+7) at the tournament. His best scores came during the first and third rounds, shooting one-under-par (71) in each round.
Kokrak debuted at Augusta National in 2020 by qualifying for the 2019 Tour Championship. He became a first-time PGA Tour winner in October 2020 with his victory at the CJ Cup at Shadow Creek in Las Vegas, securing a return trip to the Masters. Kokrak finished T17 at the 2020 U.S. Open, his best showing in a major.
