CINCINNATI - Xavier track and field posted 12 top-10 finishes on Saturday afternoon in the program's season-opening meet at the Oliver Nikoloff Invitational. The two-day meet was hosted at Coy Field and Gettler Stadium on the campus of the University of Cincinnati.

Xavier was one of seven teams competing at the meet. The other participants were Eastern Kentucky, Dayton, Bowling Green (W), Miami (Ohio), Northern Kentucky and Cincinnati.
