Musketeers close out regular season on Sunday against DePaul
CINCINNATI -  Xavier women's soccer fell, 1-0, to Marquette on Thursday afternoon after an early second half goal for the Golden Eagles. Xavier held an 8-4 advantage on shots but were unable to find the equalizer, moving to 3-6 overall and 2-4 in BIG EAST play.
Xavier took a 4-2 advantage on shots into the break, with neither team breaking through for a score in the first half. Less than 10 minutes into the second half, a cross from Marquette snuck inside the far post to put the Golden Eagles ahead. Xavier held a 4-1 advantage on shots the rest of the way but fell, 1-0.
The Musketeers wrap up the regular season on Sunday, April 11 at 1:00 p.m., hosting DePaul. The Musketeers will celebrate Senior Day prior to the match.
