Trey Scotti Earns Promotion To Director Of Men's Basketball Operations

Scotti has been at Xavier since 2017.
CINCINNATI --- Xavier University Sedler Family Men's Head Basketball Coach Travis Steele announced today that he has promoted Trey Scotti to Director of Basketball Operations. Scotti, who is in his fifth year at Xavier, has been the team's full-time Video Coordinator since 2018.
"Trey is an integral part of our program and is very deserving of this promotion," said Steele. "Trey is as hard a worker as you're going to find and he does a lot of the behind the scenes work in our program that goes unnoticed. He is always here whether early or late. If I need something, he does it at the drop of a hat. He's another guy that wears a lot of different hats in our program. Trey is smart, passionate, and loyal and he is going to be a terrific coach. He sees the game very well, and he has a great grasp on analytical data."
Scotti, a 2017 graduate of Indiana University with a degree in sport management with minors in business and marketing, completed his master's degree in sports administration from Xavier University in 2018. Scotti served as the head manager for the IU basketball team from 2013-17 and spent the 2017-18 season at Xavier as a graduate assistant before being promoted in 2018.
