CINCINNATI --- The Xavier University Musketeers, 8-3 overall and 0-0 in the BIG EAST Conference, host the Creighton University Bluejays, 5-5 overall and 0-0 in the BIG EAST Conference, on Wednesday night in the league opener for both teams at 6:30 p.m. at Cintas Center. Xavier enters the game with a five-game winning streak.

Xavier has welcomed 3,992,624 men's basketball fans to Cintas Center since it opened in 2000-21 and is set to pass the four million mark on Wednesday night.

• Xavier is 8-4 in BIG EAST Conference openers.
• Xavier, 8-3, is coming off its fifth-straight win, a 75-57 victory over Missouri State on Friday. Sophomore Jovan Milićević led XU in scoring with 17 points.
• Xavier senior Filip Borovićanin had 13 points, 11 rebounds and a career-high eight assists on Friday and was named on the BIG EAST Honor Roll for the second time this season.
• Xavier graduate student Tre Carroll, who leads XU in scoring at 16.9 ppg. (sixth in the BIG EAST), is the only player who has scored in double figures in every game, including a collegiate career-high 30 in the win over Cincinnati on Dec. 5.
• Xavier leads the nation in assist-to-turnover ratio at 2.14 and in turnover percentage at 12.4 percent. XU leads the BIG EAST in assists and is 19th in the nation at 18.9 apg. XU's assist percentage (70 percent) is third in the nation.
• Xavier senior Malik Messina-Moore leads the BIG EAST Conference and is 15th in the
nation in assist-to-turnover ratio at 4.18.
• Xavier has four players averaging in double figures in scoring: graduate student Tre Carroll (16.9 ppg.), sophomore Jovan Milićević (12.9 ppg.), senior Roddie Anderson III (12.6 ppg.) and sophomore All Wright (10.7 ppg.).
• Xavier ranks second in the BIG EAST and 36th in the nation in 3-point field goals per game at 10.5; XU has hit 10+ in six of the last seven games.
• Xavier sophomore Jovan Milićević is third on the team in scoring (17th in the BIG EAST at 12.9 ppg.) and is fifth in the BIG EAST in 3-point field goals per game (2.5).
