Nick Frey shot four-under-par (68) in the final round on Tuesday
FITCHBURG, Wis. - Xavier men's golf wrapped up day three action at the Badger Invitational on Tuesday evening. The three-day tournament was played at University Ridge.
The Musketeers recorded a 54-hole score of 906Â (+42), ranking 14th out of 14 teams. Xavier posted its lowest round of the tournament on Tuesday, recording a score of 295 (+7).
Nick Frey hit four-under-par (68) on Tuesday, tied for the lowest round of golf in the final round. He placed tied for 39th to lead the Musketeers in scoring.Â
Illinois State won the tournament with a 54-hole score of 856 (-8). Cincinnati's Sam Jean won the individual title, placing first in a field of 81 golfers with a 54-hole score of 209 (-7).
