Men, Women Place Seventh at BIG EAST Cross Country Championships

NORTH ATTLEBORO, Mass. - Xavier men's and women's cross country both placed seventh in the team standings at the BIG EAST Cross Country Championships Presented by JEEP on Saturday.

The race was held at the Mark Coogan Course at Highland Park in North Attleboro, Mass.

Georgetown won the women's 6K race, while Villanova won the men's 8K race. Individually, Providence's Jane Buckley won the women's race (20:06), while Butler's Barry Keane won the men's race (23:15).

Jamie Klavon led the Xavier women with a 32nd place finish (21:48), while Trevor Nolan paced the men with a 31st place finish (24:56).
