Andrew Martin Picks Up Second BIG EAST Athlete of the Week Award of the Season

The senior won three events, helping Musketeers to first-place finish at Magnus Cup
NEW YORK - After helping Xavier to a first place finish at the Cleveland State Magnus Cup last weekend, senior Andrew Martin was named the BIG EAST Swimming and Diving Athlete of the Week.
Martin won three individual events during the three-day meet, winning the 200 free with a BIG EAST leading time of 1:37.46, the 500 free with a BIG EAST best time of 4:25.75, and the 1,650 free with a time of 15:28.54, the second fastest time in the league so far this season.
He also earned a spot in the A-Final of the 50 free with a personal-best time of 20.67, the second fastest time in the BIG EAST so far this season.
Martin also helped Xavier to a win in the 400 medley relay, second place finishes in the 200 free relay, 400 free relay and 200 medley relay and a third-place finish in the 800 free relay.
This is Martin's second weekly award of the season.
