Xavier Athletics Announces "What Is New" For The 2022-23 Basketball Season

CINCINNATI - Xavier Athletics has announced updates and new offerings for the 2022-23 basketball season. Men's basketball officially gets the season underway today, Monday, Nov. 7 against Morgan State and the women open their home schedule on Thursday, Nov. 10 against Detroit Mercy.

- Xavier Musketeers Gameday App – Fans can access all things Xavier Athletics with the official Xavier Musketeers Gameday app. The app provides live stats, schedule updates, promotions and more. Be sure to sign up for push notifications so you don't miss anything! To download the app, click here.
- Digital Game Program – The Xavier Game Day program is available online for fans to access at home and at Cintas Center. Fans can access the program via the Xavier Musketeers Gameday app or online at GoXavier.com/Program.
- 50/50 Raffle - The All For One Fund 50/50 Raffle presented by Skyline Chili is online, and now available in-advance of gamedays! Tickets will go on sale at 7:30 a.m. on game-day in advance of all home men's basketball games and closes during the second half. The winning number will be announced in the second half and will be posted online the following day. You do not need to be present to claim your winning ticket. You must be 18 years or older and live in Ohio to play. We encourage all Xavier fans throughout the state of Ohio to participate through the online portal and support our student-athletes! - North LED Videoboard Display – Technology enhancements to Cintas Center continue with the addition of a 32' by 10' LED display on the north wall above the Lookout. This display will primarily include game and hustle stats throughout the game.
- "Hoopy Hour" Returns – Hoopy Hour returns again with fan-friendly value-priced concession items for the first 60 minutes after doors open (at the four main concourse concession stands, Victory Vino and The Woods). Fan favorites including popcorn, hot dogs, pretzels, and nachos will be available for only $3 each. Select alcoholic beverages are available for $2 OFF including draft beers for $6 and a $2 12 oz. option at The Woods.
- Grippo's Now Available – Grippo's is now the official chip of Xavier Athletics. BBQ and plain chips will now be available for purchase throughout Cintas Center.
- Other New Menu Items – Cintas Center is pleased to offer other new menu items including BBQ Pork Nachos over blue and white corn tortilla chips (Concession Stand 2), and local draught beer options in Duff's (pregame only).
- V Foundation Souvenir Cup – Cincinnati Cancer Advisors has teamed up with the V Foundation. When you purchase the Xavier 32-ounce souvenir cup this season you'll support cancer research while having the chance to win great prizes. Learn more by visiting riseupxcurecancer.com.
- Xavier Team Reunions – This season marks the anniversary for many past great Xavier men's basketball milestones and moments including the 40th anniversary of the Musketeers' 1983 NCAA appearance - its first since 1961, and the 15th anniversary of the 2008 NCAA Elite 8 team. Xavier will recognize these and other teams throughout the season. More details coming soon!
