Xavier ends it's historic season with a five-set loss to Boston College
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Xavier volleyball falls to Boston College 2-3 (25-23, 22-25, 25-19, 18, 25, 10-15) in the first ever matchup between the two teams.
The Musketeers end their season at 21-12 (11-7 BIG EAST) while the Eagles continue to the NIVC Semi-Finals at 22-13 (7-11 MAC).Â

• Carrigan O'Reilly had a stellar match with 52 assists, six kills, 11 digs, three block assists, and one service ace.  The senior setter now has a career total of 3,410 assists with 1,196 just this season and earned her 32nd career double-double.
• Brooklyn Cink and Delaney Hogan shared the match-high of 16 kills apiece. Hogan hit for .600 in the match while Cink topped the charts with 55 total attempts.
• Angel Robinson put up her Xavier career high in kills with 11 in the match, topping her 10 kills against UAB in the match that opened the season. The graduate middle blocker also tossed a block solo and three block assists on the board for the Musketeers.
• Senior outside hitter Maryann O'Toole tallied 11 kills for the Musketeers. She hit for .321 across the five sets.
• Sophomore libero Lucia Corsaro had the team high of 20 digs in the match and posted the only service ace for the Musketeers.
• Along with Corsaro, four additional Musketeers put up services aces against the Eagles. O'Reilly, junior defensive specialist Stevie Wolf, Cink, and senior defensive specialist Alyssa Overbeck each managed one.
• Corsaro led with 20 digs while Cink and Wolf both tallied 12 and O'Reilly and Overbeck posted 11 apiece.
