Volleyball Adds Four Players to 2022 Roster

Xavier adds two outside hitters and two middle blockers to the roster
CINCINNATI - Xavier head volleyball coach Christy Pfeffenberger has announced the addition of four players to the 2022 roster.
Was a three-year letterwinner at Missouri State... earned All-MVC First Team honors during the 2020-21 season... was named to the 2019 MVC All-Freshman Team... was a two-time MVC Academic Honor Roll recipient... played in 68 matches (260 sets) at Missouri State... totaled 723 kills, 495 digs, 162 blocks and 54 aces... averaged 2.78 kills and 1.90 digs per set... had 11 matches with 10 or more kills during the fall 2021 season.

Her collegiate experienced, mixed with obstacles she has had to overcome, gives her a great perspective of what it means to work and stay patient with one's growth. Played in 76 matches during her four-year career at Virginia Tech... led the Hokies in total blocks (114) last season, while ranking 113th in the NCAA... she also led the team in hitting percentage (.334), while ranking 106th in the NCAA... added 159 kills to rank fourth in the team... also led the team in total blocks (60) and hitting percentage (.295) in 2020... finished her career at Virginia Tech with 326 kills and 218 blocks.

Was a four-year varsity letterwinner... helped her team compile a 66-33 overall record with four sectional championships, three conference titles and one district runner-up finish... was named OCC Player of the Year twice... was a three-time All-OCC First Team honoree... earned OHSAA All-State honors as a senior... was a three-time All-District performer... finished her career with 1,121 kills, 534 digs, 131 aces and 124 blocks... is the only player in school history with 1,000 or more kills... was a member of the National Honors Society, Spanish Honors Society, Yearbook and ECO Club... played club volleyball for MOJO Volleyball Club (2013-15), Patriot Volleyball Club (2016), Nova Juniors (2017) and Mintonette Sports (2018-22).

Helped Hillsborough CC to a 16-7 overall record in the fall of 2022... played in 43 matches (133 sets) in two seasons... totaled 128 kills, 94 total blocks and 27 digs... participated in basketball, track and field and volleyball in high school... finished her career as her high school's record holder in the high jump... had 100 kills and 58 total blocks (42 solo) during her senior season... also averaged 11.6 points and 6.7 rebounds per game in basketball... led her basketball team to a 26-5 record and a state final four appearance as a senior.
