Women’s Golf Set to Play in NCAA Ann Arbor Regional

CINCINNATI - Xavier women's golf will participate in the NCAA Ann Arbor Regional on May 9-11 at the University of Michigan Golf Course. The Musketeers will be participating in the NCAA Tournament for the third time in program history.
The NCAA Tournament field was set on Wednesday afternoon following the NCAA Selection Show on the Golf Channel. A total 12 teams and six individuals will be featured at each regional site with the top four teams advancing to the NCAA Championships on May 20-25 at Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Ariz. A total of 12 individuals will be selected to participate in the championships as well.
Xavier won its third straight BIG EAST Championship on April 23, finishing 14 strokes ahead of Georgetown.
Abby Kiefer and Emma McMyler, and Creighton's Katherine Lemke, all finished the tournament tied for first with a score of 213 (-3) - winning individual medalist honors.
The first-place finish for Abby Kiefer was the highest finish of her career. Emma McMyler now has two career first-place finishes (also won the Bradley Coyote Creek Classic on Oct. 10, 2021).
