Emma McMyler Set for 77th U.S. Women’s Open Championship

The tournament starts on Thursday at Pine Needles Lodge & Golf Club
CINCINNATI - Emma McMyler is set to play her opening round at the 77th U.S. Women's Open Championship Presented by ProMedica on Thursday morning at 7:22 a.m.
The four-day tournament is being played on June 2-5 at Pine Needles Lodge & Golf Club in Southern Pines, N.C.
The sophomore earned her spot at the Ohio State University Golf Club Scarlet Course on May 4, one of 26 qualifying locations in the United States. The San Antonio, Texas, native placed second in a field of 63 golfers with a 36-hole score of 141 (-3), earning one of three automatic qualifying spots.
McMyler is one of only 156 golfers who will comprise the starting field from a record total of 1,874 entries to the tournament.
The two-time BIG EAST Player of the Year wrapped up her season at the NCAA Ann Arbor Regional on May 11, placing tied for ninth in the individual standings with a score of 213 (+3).
