Both teams placed first on Friday evening at Northern Kentucky

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. - Xavier cross country opened the 2022 season by winning both the men's and women's races at the Queen City Invitational. The meet was held at the Valhalla Course on Northern Kentucky's campus.

The Xavier women have now won the Queen City Invitational four times (2022, 2019, 2015, 2013). The Xavier men won the Queen City Invitational for the first time since 2010 (third overall; 2022, 2010, 2009).
