O'Reilly records her 21st career double-double, her second of the tournament

CINCINNATI - In today's matinee, Xavier tied up the series history with Eastern Michigan in a 3-1 (25-14, 25-14, 23-25, 25-21) victory. This was the first match of the season for the Musketeers that was completed in less than five sets. Xavier moves to 4-1 record while Eastern Michigan falls to 0-5.

NOTABLES

• Carrigan O'Reilly recorded her 21st career double-double and her second of the tournament when she posted 23 assists and 12 digs. The senior setter also pushed her career assist total to 2,348 with the feat. She also posted eight kills.

• O'Reilly, junior middle blocker Hunter Fry, and graduate middle blocker Angel Robinson each tallied up three block assists for the squad. Robinson recorded the only block solo of the match on both sides.

• Leading the squad in service aces was Fry as she totaled four. The junior also achieved six kills and five digs.

• Emma Grace also tallied up three services aces and eleven kills for Xavier.

• Sophomore setter Logan Flaugh recorded the second highest number of assists from both squads with 22.

• Both O'Reilly and sophomore libero Lucia Corsaro added 12 digs to each of these respective career totals.

• Sophomore outside hitter Anna Taylor added eight kills to the squads 52 total.
